I'm Thankful for the life I have!!

Last two days was really crazy here in NYC and other places where HUrricane IRENE was on the way..Ive never seen the people in NYC panicking!! The foodstores, and home supplies placese were crowded with people and everyone were bg stocking up food for the hurricane that was supposed to effect so bad..THank god it was not that BAd here in NYC, it did effect some parts but over all we all can say that we were LUCKY enough to hab been survived!!
All i can say that i hab never been so scared in my whole life..family and freinds calling back from MY home town NEPAL, were all scared after watching it on TV>IN the end im happy to say that its over and definitely looking for new days to come!!

    HI Preity! So glad to hear you & your family are ok. We didn't get anything up in the Hudson Valley area, but I heard a lot of flooding in Queens & Staten Island & parts of Manhattan.

    I'm glad you came out of it alright. I kept hearing that it wasn't that bad once it hit NYC/NJ, but hey. That's how the news perceives it, and most can't help but follow it.

    That is a snazzy look, if I might say. The booties, as always, are cute! So far, the booties make you look like you live in heels! Haha~

    Yeah it was crazy out here in grocery stores and hardware stores. Cool skirt. It was actually quite exciting for me being that I was sure nothing tragic was going to happen.

    Glad to hear that you're okay. I live in the northern area of Florida, so hurricanes don't really hit or reach my area. But I'm amazed the Irene reached all the way up there. My professor was joking about how his grand children from New York are coming to Florida to avoid the hurricane xD

    I was so glad to hear that you guys were all safe! I was also facebooking friends from NYC like mad. But hey they said it was a great experience in the end as it ended up being more of a tropical rain!
